Out of the standard inlet manifolds for the clio V6, the phase 2 item is the one to go for if decent power increase is required. Here at AngelWorks we have isolated the main flaws with the phase 2 inlet manifold and have successfully developed a series of modifications to the entire unit which nets a very useful gain. These modifications not only enhance bulk flow numbers but substantially increase flow quality into the cylinder head, and aid fuel homogeneity as the injectors are manifold mounted.
One of the major problems with the v6 manifold is uneven cylinder distribution, whereby the inlet manifold, through poor design, is unable to provide each cylinder with the same volumetric efficiency. This results in uneven cylinder pressures, increased torsional vibration, varying AFR and EGT values across cylinders, and ultimately less power. Coupled with our plenham spacer we guarantee that you will be able to feel the results.
