The new range of Renault sport vehicles respond fantastically to flow enhancing modifications. As standard the cylinder heads are CNC finished, which delivers fantastic repeatability for a mass produced cylinder head, or rather, they got cheap on the casting qualities. Either way the cylinder head has a constant size inlet, but the batch cast inlet manifolds vary greatly from average to appalling. Over the last 2 years AWT has developed a flow profile which provides an astonishing gain for such an outdated modification technique. The emphasis on development is because it is more than a mere matching but a complete reworking of the tight radii bends to keep flow from shearing and separating around what is a very long curve. Parallel flow is essential to prevent turbulence and the wasting of energy before you reach the head if you cannot keep distance a constant on runner floor and roof. For this reason the AWT modified inlet manifold is unmatched among competition.
Both components compromising the inlet manifold are modified for the included price.
Outright, exchange modification of your manifold is available, also includes new gaskets.
